Payment Methods

Our billing includes a one-time setup fee for initial configuration and a monthly fee for ongoing service and usage. The following diagram illustrates the supported payment methods on Cloud Softphone portal at providers.cloudsoftphone.com.

Payment methods overview

The following sections explain the three (3) supported methods:

TopUp

You can set up a prepaid account. The initial setup one-time fee and the following monthly fees are billed from this account.

Topping Up a Prepaid Account

To add funds to a prepaid account:

  1. Create a top-up invoice:

    1. Log in to providers.cloudsoftphone.com.

    2. In the Organization pane, select the Details button.

    3. Select the Billing and Accounting tab.

    4. In the Payment methods setup pane, select the + Top-up button.

    5. On the Prepaid balance screen, enter the desired amount in the Amount to top-up field.

    6. Select the + Create topup payment order button.

      Note

      Ensure the top-up amount sufficient to cover the charges for the next billing cycle.

    7. Select OK on the dialog box. A top-up invoice is sent to your email address.

      Note

      A proforma invoice is generated as a preliminary document for prepaid account top-up. Once the billing cycle is completed and payment is deducted from the prepaid account, a final invoice will be issued for payment.

    8. Download the invoice from your email inbox or from this Prepaid balance screen.

  2. Make a bank transfer:

    1. Open the top-up invoice to obtain the bank transfer details.

    2. Use your bank service to make the bank transfer.

When the fund is credited in your prepaid account, the Current balance section reflects the updated account balance.

PayPal

The initial setup one-time fee and the following monthly fees are billed from the PayPal account setup on the Cloud Softphone portal.

Setting PayPal as the Payment Method

  1. Log in to providers.cloudsoftphone.com.

  2. In the Organization pane, select the Details button.

  3. Select the Billing and Accounting tab.

  4. In the Payment methods setup pane, select the Setup PayPal button. PayPal login screen displays.

  5. Log in to your PayPal account.

    Note

    If you do not have an account, select the Create an Account button on the PayPal login screen. Then, follow the instructions on the screen to register a new account.

  6. Select the Agree & Continue button.

    A Billing Agreement is created and its number is displayed in the Payment methods setup pane.

Stripe

The initial setup one-time fee and the following monthly fees are billed from the credit card saved on the Cloud Softphone portal.

Submitting a Credit Card

To set a credit card as the payment method, you must save its information on the portal.

  1. Log in to providers.cloudsoftphone.com.

  2. In the Organization pane, select the Details button.

  3. Select the Billing and Accounting tab.

  4. In the Payment methods setup pane, select the Setup Credit Card button.

  5. In the Submit Credit Card details pane, fill in the Card holder name and Card number field.

  6. Select the Submit Credit Card button. The credit card is saved on the Cloud Softphone portal.
